Grandpa Devers Visit

Grandpa Devers is here to visit for the week. We had lots of fun. I think he realized how much work 2 kids can be!! Hahha. And fun too... Yes the days are hectic and eventful around here. Aiden enjoyed playing with his black panther hat. Ava is putting grandpa to sleep here. We have been enjoying walks to the park and to Target and playing inside while he is here. It has been very foggy here the last few days, luckily it only rained one day so far and has been in the high 50's during the day. My dad even babysat one day so i could go get my hair done. Aiden even called him "Papa" the other day.

These are our family photos we recently had done for the holidays. Ava had her 1 month picture done also. She wanted to sleep through most of the pictures. I finally got her to open her eyes in her individual picture.

Sucking her thumb.......

I took Ava in to my work to see the girls and she was ready to eat so she started sucking her thumb while she was waiting. They took a picture of it and emailed it to me. I haven't really seen her suck her thumb before, she sure was enjoying it here though.

Blue Eyed Girl

Here are a few pictures where you can actually see Ava with her eyes open. She still sleeps mostly all day between meals. Her eyes are getting bluer everyday, i think she got my blue eyes. Lets hope she is not blind like me too and not have to wear glasses. She weighed in at 10 pound 2 ounces on her 1 month checkup this week. Is this a UFO landing on his head or is Aiden trying to tell us that he is done eating?? He likes to play with the paper plates after his meal. Fnny huh?

Monkey Bars Fun..........

Aiden loves the monkey bars now, he wants to venture onto them every time we are at the park. He is a brave kid , too brave if you ask me. Here is a picture of him hanging by himself from the monkey bars. Scott is also teaching him to do pullups from them. Pretty soon he'll be working out with scott at the gym.

It was so cute when my mom was here , she kept calling Ava a 'Little Dear Heart'. I thought it was so cute, so that is her nickname.Here are a few recent shots my mom and i took during her visit.

Grandma Devers Visit

My mom came to visit this week and her sister Nancy were here also. Here's a few pictures of their visit. They were a tremendous help with the kids and Nancy cleaned practically the whole house top to bottom. They also let us enjoy a night on the town dancing .. Much needed.

Some Love from the Bilyeu Grandparents........

Ava slept through all her visitors this past Sunday. Grandma and Grandpa Bilyeu made their rounds to check up on their newest grandbaby. She will sleep through anything and there is no interrupting her sleep, even Aiden dashing around the room full speed does not do it. She is such a mellow baby and does not cry much usually unless she is hungry. She is obviously a good little sleeper as well.

Brotherly Love......

Aiden in settling in as a new big brother. He is wanting to pick up Ava all the time now , so here is is holding her. It's not very often that he sits still long enough to hold her.

Giddy-up Cowboy!

Just a quick video from today. Aiden loves his rocking horse and his cowboy hat. Now i just need to get his cowboy boots on him and we'll be set to ride..LOL. He even takes time to give Ava a kiss. Click on the arrow to play the video.

Still Trying to Climb.......

Aiden really likes his new bed. He is still trying to find ways to climb out though.. Boys! He is putting all his animals to bed after he got up from his nap. We got them all tucked in. Haha..

Moving into a Toddler Bed

Aiden mastered the skill of climbing out of his regular crib, so we finally converted his crib to a toddler bed. Also we added a gate to the doorway to keep him in safe and sound at night while we are sleeping. This is an adjustment phase for him. He is getting used to it. This is how he finally crashed in the bed for his nap.

Enjoying some floor time......

Ava is finally awake to enjoy some time playing on the floor today. She has been sleeping alot during the day and wanting to stay up in the evening and in the middle of the night lately. Hopefully that will change soon. Here are a few picture and videos of her on the floor. She is 15 days old now.
