We finally decided to put all the kids toys in our front dining room and make that their play room, and we reclaimed our great room . The kids LOVE it and it is soo much more organized too. Scott made them a table that is just perfect for them to build, color or do whatever they want on. Glad i married a handyman!! With winter coming and them spending alot of time inside we decided to fix up their space . =)
It was once said that "you should live each day as your last". Never having regrets about what may have passed before you grabbed hold of it. May we share our family experiences through this blog and the love we are so lucky to endure each day.

Yosemite Ca
We took a drive up to Yosemite with the bikes packed up. It turned out to be a perfect little venture while my Dad was visitting. Aiden rode his bike on all the trails with such enthusiasm--my dad kept saying that Aiden's legs were getting tired of peddling--but i think it was my Grandpa Devers that was getting tired..haha It was
very beautiful and great weather this time of year. I could not get enough pictures of this place.

Our summer Vacation 2010
This year for our vacation we decided to stay local and take a few mini day trips. It ended up being perfect since we got to do everything we had been wanting to do with the kids for the week.
We started off with a trip to the lake for the 4th of July fireworks. The next 3 days we went up to Pinecrest Lake for camping, fishing and hiking--and swimming. The kids did not want to leave--they had such a blast camping. They figured out that our tent had--a doggie door--well thats what they called it--and kept going in and out of it. It really was an outlet to get to your cooler. Aiden was a maniac riding his bike everywhere--they have a bike trail all around the lake--that we did lots of trails on. Also we tried to do some fishing one day--although we didn't catch any fish--it turned out to be a fun adventure. The kids ate soo many marshmellows too---and i enjoyed my favorite dessert-smores. The last night there--they were both sooo tired--they fell asleep on me. Too precious!
We took a daytrip to Santa Cruz Beach the last day. This was the first time we've evar taken the kids there--Scott and i used to frequent this beach in our pre-kids days though. I was amazed by how many rides they could go on. The favorite one for all of us was THE LOG RIDE.. we all got wet and must have rode it a half dozen times. Also the kids dove right into the beach-and as you can see we had sand coming out of everywhere. Such a great way to spend our vacation-didn't cost us much, low stress, not too far to travel--and close enough to home to come back and regroup for a day or so.

Lovin' on the Pets..xoxoxox
Aiden was pretending to be asleep when i took these. He loves Fred snuggling in his bed with him. These animals are spoiled--the kids are always giving them treats. We bought some kitty treats the other day at the store since Aiden told me it was" FooFoo's birthday"..hahaha. Kids! Oh and Ava is always feeding Fred her food and then telling me-"He likes it mom".. =)
