Forever Sand Castle

I found this recipe for a forever sand castle in a magazine and the kids and i made it with the sand we had collected at Golf Shores Beach when we visitted Dad over 5 years ago. It turned out pretty good--it matches our theme in the kids bathroom .They got a kick out of it. =)

Lovin'on FRED FRED

As you can see Fred is adored at our house by All. He is soo tolerable of 2 toddlers running around as you can see its more like wrestling with fred, and giving Fred a new Do. The kids are great at taking care of his grooming too--we put him in the shower with them and they suds him all up and get him all clean--how easy is that? What a Dog!!

My Birthday Card from Scott reads "Your Youth has Left The Building" Gotta laugh but last i heard 21 is still youthful right? hahahaha!!

HELLO KITTY-Goodbye DIAPERS!!!

Ava is officially potty trained. What worked was Hello Kitty potty chart and underwear. She is using every potty in northern CA now--haha. Now we are not complaining. Going to the potty is now a form of exercise for us parents who have to search and find the nearest potty. In fact i carry the little portable one in the back of my car--since as we know some parks do not have restrooms. Scott thought this was soo silly- but since girls will not pee anywhere but on a potty-he now agrees that it is necessary. Haha. Congratulations Ava!!!

Easter Fun

The kids enjoyed a few egg hunts, silly string and frogs sticky frogs. They got these sticky frogs in their Easter baskets and Aideb figured out that they stick to the ceiling--so we all had bets which ones would fall first . Also had a picnic at the lake saturday and got to feed ducks too. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Aiden's First Day of Preschool

A big day today- Aiden started preschool. He was so excited to carry that backpack and make friends. Although the night before when we were prepping him for his first day he said he "already had enough friends"- yeah he was a little nervous for this school thing his parents kept talking about lol. We even gave him his own alarm for him to get up to--so he can get up on time. The first day his alarm went off and he sat up in his bed and yelled--"mom and Dad im up". Of course we thought he might cry when we left--well no he barely wanted to wave--sniffle sniffle for mom though. Ava was taking it hard-she bawled her eyes out saying she didnt want him to go. She is still adjusting to her independance without him. He is going 3 days a week 8-1230 until he starts kindergarten next fall. We are soo proud of him=)

Tball Kick off!!! Go Bees!!

Aiden is playing on The Bees Tball team. So far it has been alot of fun watching these kids learn the game. They are really making progress each time they get out there and having fun too! We are lucky to have great parents and coaches that pitch in whenever needed to get the job done. We are lookingh forward to the rest of the season--GO BEES!!! Ava even has her yellow pom poms that she totes along to the games. =)

Just for fun

Aiden Turns 4!

Our Little man turned 4 on March 9th. We had Robot Themed party--at his request. It was fun for all. He was the first one in the bounce house and the last one out . Now that the kids are getting bigger-we can play fun games at these parties now. He is really growing up this year.

In this past year he has really grown up and had many achievements . He has a big year ahead of him with lots of new things to look forward to. His biggest jobs now are : Big Brother to Ava, cleaning the cat litter ( he volunteered for this one - and even gets mad if i do it without him-haha), making his bed, and gathering the laundry for me. His most favorite thing to do is Riding his bike-and boy is he a daredevil.

I can still remember the card that was my favorite after Aiden was born it read" He's a little bit of sunshine, he's a smile to light your days,he will steal you heart and keep it with his little charming ways" And that he definitely has.
