Ava loves it when Aiden interacts with her, even if it is to give him a horsey back ride. Don't' worry he is not hurting her. She laughs at him and loves his attention. Good thing she is a good sport- since he also likes to douse her face with water in the tub--this makes her smile. Amazingly enough she is turning out to be pretty rough and tumble like her brother. Wait til they are chasing each other around the house-- that will be a wild time~!! X=Can't imagine 2 of them with Aiden's energy buzzing about the house.. haha

Summer Boating Season is here!!

I'm sure all of you have heard me talk about Scott and Aiden working in the garage on the boat. Yeah i have griped and groaned about the boys being MIA working on the boat, but i must say Scott did an awesome job of getting it ready and doing all the maintenance on it himself. It saved us alot of money, since the 3 year maintenance was due to be done. He researched it all online and did it with the help of Aiden of course. Kudos to them for all their hard work!! Anyways we took it out to Don Pedro Lake this past Sunday and the kids all had fun. They even got to take the tube out for a spin. Aiden is at a fun age to enjoy the boat now. Ava relaxed in her car seat or on the floor of the boat. She took a few naps too. Don't worry, she was under the shade the whole time . I am looking forward to the next time we get to get away and go again soon. Scott and i both got to get out thee on the wake board too. It was nice , since it seems like i have been out of commission with being pregnant every summer for a while.

Daytrip to Yosemite Ca

We decided to get away for the day to Yosemite to go hiking and maybe a picnic. We have not been up there since before we had the kids, so we figured it was time. Spring is usually a beautiful time to visit since the weather is normally pretty mild. Anyways it rained, well mostly just sprinkled. Even so we got in some hiking with our new double stroller , which i might add we absolutely love!! They have a beautiful and cozy lodge at this popular hotel there-- the Awhanee lodge that has a nice fireplace that we cozied up to after we got some hiking in. It even snowed on the way home. Anyways here are some photos of the kids and us enjoying a family day.It is very green up there this time of year as you will see..In the midst of all this traveling, Aiden is showing some interest in using the toilet to go pee. He actually peed in it 4 times today!! Yeah... He got to add some new stickers to his potty chart today!!

Ava Amelia ......6 Months Old

Can't believe Ava is already 6 months. She is such a happy girl. She is rolling around all over the floor now. Her and Aiden are becoming buddies, they get a bath together and eat at the table together-well Ava in the highchair. She is starting to get some new sprouts of hair, you can see in the pictures. Scott picked out this outfit for her to wear, he said it matches her blue eyes..

The Beanbag

This bean bag is a hit at our house. Aiden loves it, so does Ava and FooFoo was even caught lounging in it when i came home yesterday..

Fun with water..

We got out the pool for the year and had fun with water balloons today. Aiden's job was to fill up the pools with water, see how he does..haha.Aiden and Kaylee had a great time chasing each other around with messy popsicles too. The weather has been perfect here , in the 70's . I love the spring weather here.
