Birds Galore...=)

The birds are all enjoying our feeder now--we have quite a following going on out there. Scott hung it out in the trees for me so the birds are right at home. Isn't nature Grand?

Stats and Measurements....

The kids are growing up soo fast. We did all their measurements on our wall of growth in the laundry room and WOW--they are growing!

Aiden is growing to be 3 years old in march and now is 38 inches tall and weighs 32.6 lbs.. He is sporting a size 10 1/2 shoe already! His feet are "big" said the guy at Stride Rite when we bought his shoes. He is in the 74th percentile for his age. He is starting to sing all these songs he is learning from our new sitter Norma - his favorites are twinkle twinkle-little star, itsy bitsy spider and the ABC song... Oh and old McDonald too... As you can see he boycotts getting his picture taken at all costs..=)

Ava is growing to be tall for a girl. She is now 15 months and weighs 24 lbs and is 32 inches tall. She is in the 87th percentile for height, and 65th percentile for weight. She is wearing size 5 1/2 shoe already. She is quite the babbler too...She can point to items in a book if you ask her to now..She changes everyday. She loves to give hugs and kisses...

ok foofoo missed out on the stats and measurements.. so i put him on the scale and he is now 15.8 lbs...don't want to leave him out....haha

The kids had a fun photo shoot for Jeff's birthday--since we weren't there to celebrate --we had our own celebration.... Wish we lived closer Jeff!!! Aiden wanted to know where the cupcakes were?? lol

Not in any specific order: Ava eating an ice cream cone--Aiden posing with his sunglasses--Aiden making a masterpiece with cereal out of our Christmas tree star---Ava getting her first home pedicure--Aiden helping to cook dinner---Ava playing dress up---Ava having a tea party.....These kids know how to have fun...=)

Visit from Debbie and John

For those if you don't know, Debbie babysat my brother and sister growing up for many years. She lived right around the block from my moms house. She is like family and we grew up with her 3 kids also. It was so nice to see them. They are traveling across the USA for 3 months... seeing all the sights in their motor home. They brought along their 2 dogs Sophie and Buster( ? i think?) and the kids loved playing with the dogs.. they are french Bulldogs.

Putting on my makeup and getting dolled up!

We are decluttering at our house--and have got rid of most all our baby clothes and old toys. Either to goodwill or people we know. It feels so good to declutter--and give the stuff to those that can put them to use instead of them just sitting around at our place. In my mind clutter=anxiety... It is so nice to be free of all these . In my travels dropping some stuff off at goodwill today--the lady in line ahead of me unloaded this vanity--and we had to check it out.. I snatched it up for only $8.00. It even makes noise like a hair dryer also.. and came with 2 little brushes.I gave Ava a little makeup brush and some hair accessories to play around with too... Not sure who's more excited for it . me or the kiddos..haha Aiden loves it too!

Such a Little Lady at 14 months.

Ava knows all her body parts and even says some of them..Also checkout her new boots i found for her at this consignment shop called 'Ragz and Ritzs'... for girls... She loves shoes already, she picks out the ones she wants to wear each day--yes she has a bunch of them--between the ones i bought.. the ones Grandma Devers bought her she has a collection. A girl can't have too many shoes right? Also picked up this ruffly feathery scarf for$1.00 for the kids to play dress up with.

Poolside fun...

This was at the pool at the Embassey Suites in Lake Tahoe. We didn't get in til 730pm--so we swam and the kids were up til 11pm. We all slept in a king size bed--the only problem was that Ava didn't want to sleep--she was head banging in the bed and trying to wrestle Aiden awake..lol

Fun in the snow at Lake Tahoe

Just some pictures from our weekend mini-vacation to Lake Tahoe last weekend. We all had fun at the pool and sledding. We went to Sierra Tahoe- where they had 2 ramps to go down. We had to walk up each time--what a workout!We all had fun going down the hills. The kids made a snowman also.. It was pretty warm--we were actually hot in all our snow gear--we took our coats off at one point. It was sunny up there the day we went.

Happy New Years!!! 2010 is here!!

We had a fun time bringing in the New Years with the kids at home. They had their first sleepover. I can't believe the last of them were still up at 1am!! The poppers were a hit--a MESS--but soo much fun!!!Checkout our vacuum afterwards... Oh and did Scott get carried away tossing Ava or what??/ They could be in circus act. =)

My 2010 Resolutions: 1-Enjoy today because tomorrow it will be gone. 2-Remember a clean house is never more important than family, friends or my sanity. 3-Sing-Dance -and laugh with my family and friends every chance i get- because life is too darn short! 4-Never stop doing the little things for those i love.. they may mean the world to them sometimes ..5- Enjoy every summer day to the fullest--because winter comes too quickly..
