Favorite Quotes..

I made my first homemade calendar for my mother-in-law for her birthday and i ran across some of my favorite quotes. Thought i'd share....

“Children can change the world.”

"A grandmother is a baby-sitter who watches the kids instead of the television."

"Blessed be the ties that bind generations."

"A child is the greatest joy,the ultimate Blessing"."

“Children are the keys of paradise.”

"A child is a person who is going to carry on what you started. He or she is going to sit where you are sitting and when you are gone, attend to the things which you think are important. The fate of humanity is in his or her hand."

""Sometimes its the smallish things that take up the most room in our hearts.”

"A sister is a forever friend. ~Author Unknown"

"Mommas don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys.”

"There's a little cowboy in all of us, a little frontier.”

"I hope you always have a shell in your pocket...and sand in your shoes.”

Before you were conceived I wanted youBefore you were born I loved youBefore you were here an hour I would die for youThis is the miracle of life.

"It's funny that those things your kids did that got on your nerves seem so cute when your grandchildren do them"

The only thing worth stealing is a kiss from a sleeping child

As we reflect on days gone by, we learn that it's the shared moments and simple pleasures that matter most of all.

We do not remember days; we remember moments.

Rolling over now..

Ava is now rolling over both ways now. Check out the most recent video of her.

Little Clown..

c
Aiden is getting ready for his circus Birthday Party in his clown costume. I found these at the dollar store and he has been running around with them on. The glasses are a kick!

Like father like son.. ..

Aiden is learning all sorts of things around the house lately. He is helping me wash the dishes and doing some on his own. Playing in the water.. is more like it. He likes to use the scrubbers though. Lord knows we will need a dish washer recruit soon. lol.

Also Aiden has been Scott's little assistant in the garage. He wears his safety gear when the saw is running along with his dad. He also was practicing using the stud finder on the one wall too. They are working on putting the stereo back in the boat now that we have decided not to sell it. A never ending job..Aiden logs his hours in the garage these days alot with Scott. Gives Ava and i time by ourselves to chill at night. Aiden got his 2 year pictures taken today after he had his first haircut with Dad at the salon. Look out gals--here's one handsome boy!

Aiden Turns 2!!

Aiden is now 2 years old today!! Where has the time gone?? He has grown into such a character. He is saying alot of words now and still has a ton of energy all the time. I don't know where this kid gets it, but he definitely never slows down. His hobbies are working in the garage with Scott- his #1 hobby by the way-- and exploring outside and of course he loves the water. I can't wait to take both kids to the beach this summer and on the boat. We are ready for warm weather. Although Aiden's birthday is today, we are not having his party until March 21st. We are having a Circus theme party with hotdog and popcorn and elephant ears.. Also clown decor for the kids to dress in and paint their faces. We can't wait!!

Cookies and Milk

Scott started a nightly tradition of having cookies and milk with Aiden after dinner. Well Aiden had to show Kaylee all about it. He even holds the cookie in the milk for a while like Scott showed him ,to soften it to perfection. The kids enjoyed cookies and milk this week during their play date.Kaylee is quite the ham for the camera, she is putting on a pose for us..haha

Mommy's Little Girl.........

Ava and i were enjoying a girls day shopping this last Saturday. We took off Saturday morning while Scott and Aiden were home working in the garage. We visited my favorite thrift store to look for some more clothes for the kids. I found these adorable sunglasses for her- although i didn't buy them- now i wish i had. They were too darn cute!! I'm sure you will agree- and sassy! I did find some cute stuff for Ava since she is outgrowing everything and i was itching to look for some adorable summer dresses and clothes for her. I will also post this picture of Ava sucking her thumb while holding onto her rattle. She has quite the personality already! I was so excited to find this pink painted heart to put on Ava's door for only 98 cents!! I added the ribbon and had Scott hang it up ( with Aiden's help of course), and printed the name on it. Isn't it cute! You can find some real treasures at these store for almost nothing!
