Kudos to Scott for being a hands-on Dad on the days when i am at work for 14 hours and he is off. Not an easy task for alot of men with a 23 month old and a 3 month old under foot. He is learning all about the kids little quirks- mostly Ava since i have been her primary caregiver and he has always done everything with Aiden already. It's pretty normal for a breastfeeding momma to keep her little one so close, now Dad has a chance to get to know her better. Well Scott has learned some cute little tricks in his long days, and I'm sure more will follow. Anyways he dug the rainforest jumperoo out of the attic while i was at work the other day and gave Ava a spin in it. He sends me pictures of the kids throughout the day on my phone. I told him it was "no fair" that he got to see her play in it without me to see too for her first time. Also he let Aiden get some time in doing finger painting- or finger licking.. with chocolate pudding . He even ventured out and took them to Funworks down the road last Saturday. I came home to clean bottles and happy kids. Trust me , the last thing i want to do after working all day is clean bottles.. lol. Scott and i joke about how i make such a big deal about making the bottles for the next day when i have to work. It is funny when it is him filling me in on whether they pooped or not, what they ate, what words Aiden said and how their naps went. Usually it is me babbling on about these things when he gets home. Anyways i figure that our kids are very lucky to have special time with both their parents to do things their way and bond in different ways. It is a blessing in disguise, sure both of us working can be hectic, but it allows us all to have a very well-rounded existence among one- another.
