Archie on the loose!!

I woke up to feeding Ava a bottle on the couch early this morning while Scott is away at an auction til tomorrow. I heard this scuffling around behind my couch--and the cat is sitting up on the Ottoman with his ears back--so i know there is something on the loose. I look at the hamster cage and see the doors are both shut--so i had to conclude that there was a mouse or rat in the house that was about to show themselves.. gave me the creeps. I put Ava back to bed--by this time i heard the critter in the kids toy box drawers making noise--so i opened the drawer and who do i find with a pile of cat food he is nibbling on? ARCHIE!! He got out one of the tunnel--caps was off the top of the cage--wonder how that happened?? Blame it on Aiden..lol Anyways he had at some point in his round of the house found the cats food bowl and brought some back to nibble on in the toy box.. I was just glad it was not a mouse or rat--i would have had to call pest control for sure. Archie is back in his cage for now--until his next adventure..
